Important notice to all paid subscribers
I am no longer able to maintain a monthly output, and I fear that paid subscribers will no longer be receiving their money’s worth of content.
I have written a book’s worth of essay content over the last year, covering some of the broadest and deepest philosophical questions. I am now reluctant to add filler content purely for the sake of money. My existing essays are too important and meaningful to me for me to drown them amidst a sea of lower quality essays, and I don’t want to waste people’s time either.
I will leave subscriptions open, but there is no longer a promise of regular content.
If an annual or founding plan subscriber would like a refund of some sort, please contact me and I will see how much I owe you.
I want to thank all of you for supporting me in the meantime. It has been a pleasure to share my thoughts with you, and I hope they stay with you. For me personally, these ideas, as dour and weighty as they can be, are the consolation of my life.
My way of thinking about life and existence grants me a degree of aesthetic appreciation and intellectual satisfaction which I doubt is possible without these beliefs. I am in this peculiar situation where I am genuinely intellectually convinced of life after death, and I hope some of these essays provide a compelling case for this belief.
If you would like to receive a pdf file containing all of my Substack essays in one book, please get in touch by emailing me at tgwpublish@gmail.com. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
I am running a parallel operation at Buy Me A Coffee, although it is not performing as well as my Substack. In any case, here is a link to my shop at Buy Me A Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/tomvarnke/extras
